  Start by presenting the product vision and the problem the product aims to solve. At this moment we should also deep dive into the steps that have already been taken, including the Proof of Concept which you already have realized. This allows you (idea owner) and Strongbytes (tech partner) to establish a common ground for the next steps.

• Uncover user personas and features

  It allows identifying your target user, discussing features and user flow, and making the future app usable, impressive and accessible. We usually employ a User Role Modelling exercise. These user roles and their descriptions provide helpful context for features and more granular user stories.

• Feature Brainstorming and Prioritization

  Engage in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for features and functionalities. Prioritize these features based on their impact, feasibility, and alignment with user needs and business objectives.

• Story Mapping

  Visualise the stories in a more user centric way. Start by mapping the fundamental steps of the customer journey and add richness to achieve end-to-end workflows. When a story map is complete, you can see all the ways a user might interact with a product in a single, logical view that progresses from the first interaction to the overall user objective. It is a great way to identify the minimum functionality you need to pilot your concept.

• Technology and Platform Considerations

  Outline the technological requirements, including platform choices, tools, and frameworks. Consider scalability, security, and compliance requirements early in the planning process. Cover data sources, structures, and analytics that should be derived. Identify where AI can be employed.

  After having all the above sketched out, we are in a good position to further detail an initial Product Backlog, creating more granular stories in the process if needed. This allows Strongbytes to then estimate the Backlog, create a more accurate timeline and shape the team needed to build the MVP. All of this translates into a budget estimation as well. It is a good time to revisit together the roadmap and the backlog.
