• Scale image processing

  Picflow allows to upload terabytes of raw images & videos, amounting to millions of assets. Picflow optimizes these assets to significantly reduce their size while maintaining high quality. Additionally, since raw formats are not supported by browsers, Picflow converts them to browser-compatible formats, ensuring seamless display across various devices. Solution for image processing must be scalable, reliable, real-time, but at the same time keep infrastruc costs on low level

• Sending digests

  Picflow tracks millions of activities each month across all assets & entities, such as image status changes, asset visits, and new asset uploads. To provide users with clear and concise overview of these events, Picflow sends email digests summarizing the activities in a brief and visual format. However, aggregating thousands of activities into these digest statistics impacts numerous database tables, causing CPU usage to spike to 100% & blocking other users from access data.

• Flexible access system

  Picflow offers a flexible access system that enables users to manage permissions for tenant members, gallery members, guests, parent galleries, and public users. This system is designed to be dynamic and user-friendly, ensuring end customers can easily navigate it. At the same time, it is straightforward to maintain, allowing for changes in permissions or new entities without the need to rewrite a significant portion of the codebase.
