Power42's vision was clear: provide consumers with an intuitive method for monitoring energy consumption through a mobile app seamlessly connected to power optimization devices. However, the challenges lay in their existing setup. The current Ionic solution only met a portion of their desired functionality, and the backend infrastructure required an organized overhaul


Transition and Challenges

Recognizing these limitations, Power42 embarked on a mission to enhance app capabilities. This involved the creation of dedicated iOS and Android applications, enabling users to keep a close watch on energy consumption for each linked device and monitor their PV system's energy generation and distribution. In addition to these improvements, the client expressed the need to develop several white-label apps. These apps, built upon the native app's core functions, were intended for partner use.
