Goal
Perst is a desktop, scalable application created to manage measurements made by scales sold by P.R.S. Torfbud. Its purpose was to enable measurement management, but also to identify employees performing operations at the scale, create detailed reports, and create a database of articles, contractors, drivers and devices. The application can work without Internet access which provides an additional layer of security for customer data and their businesses.
Challenge
One of the main challenges faced by the appjet.io team was ensuring the application operates in offline mode, without the need for cloud-based databases. The application must also communicate efficiently with an external system transmitting data from the hardware, without using the Internet.
