Time to meet the Legal Asisstant at DVC Solutions, Natasa!

What do you find to be the most exciting aspect of DVC Solutions?

The most exciting aspect of working at DVC Solutions is that I constantly have the opportunity to grow and learn new things. It is important for me that the company offers me the opportunity for personal and professional growth, and DVC Solutions is a company where I made the most progress and gained a variety of knowledge.

Another exciting thing is that I work with people who are a great inspiration to me, from whom I can learn a lot, and who are always ready to explain and help me.

I am happy to know that at DVC Solutions, I can express my desire for additional education and that the company will enable me to do so because DVC Solutions is very committed to the advancement of its employees.

This is a photo from a dayak boat ride on our river Vrbas. In front of me is the beautiful Kastel fortress. Dayak is a special type of boat that is used only on the Vrbas River.

How do you define success in life?

I define success in life in one word - balance. For me, the most important thing is to feel inner peace and stability, and, to have that, one needs a balance in business and private life. A positive and stimulating work environment gives me satisfaction at work, which directly affects my life.

I am very ambitious and oriented toward business success, but I do not sacrifice my free time and private life. Working at DVC Solutions allows me to create a balanced life and fulfill myself in all aspects of life.

If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you like to see cast as you?

If Hollywood made a movie about my life, I would like Jennifer Lawrence to cast as me.

Why? Because she's hilarious :) I absolutely love her sense of humor. I also like people to perceive me as a positive person, always ready to make a joke about myself. I feel that Jennifer could present me in the best light.

Describe what you were like at age 10.

At 10, I was a nerd who spent most of my time studying. Even then, I knew that education would allow me to progress in life and fulfill my ambitions.

Even as a little girl, I dreamed of becoming a lawyer. I would take my dad's old briefcase, fill it with papers and carry it around the house. Since I was very young at the time and still didn't know how to write, I scribbled on those papers pretending to put my signature on some important document. I am happy that I followed the path and ambitions of that little girl and that I am where I am today.

What do you find the most challenging at DVC Solutions?

The most challenging thing for me, in the beginning, when I just started working at DVC Solutions, was that I didn't know enough about IT. As a lawyer, I knew all the laws and regulations, but it was necessary to put that knowledge into the context of IT. In the beginning, I didn't know the terminology used in IT, I wasn't familiar with the Scrum work methodology, and I didn't understand most of the things my colleagues in the company were saying.

Today, I can talk to developers and other colleagues on a completely equal footing. My colleagues were my greatest support and patiently taught me terminology and work methodology. That was very important for me because a lawyer cannot make a good contract if he does not understand the company's work methodology.

Now I can say that I am not just a lawyer, but an equal part of the IT community.

How do you spend your time outside of the office?

I spend my time outside the office in various activities. I practice Pilates, spend a lot of time in nature and on the river, and enjoy swimming. I read books, and that is one of my favorite activities. Also, I study and prepare for the bar exam.

I also like to go rafting and rock climbing. And of course, I like to go out with my friends and dance.
