How do you spend your time outside of the office?

Usually, I spend a lot of time outside of the office learning new stuff through reading books. A lot of those books are related to improving my career path.

Going to the gym is where I spend my free time also.

Besides that, I love hanging out with my friends and watching sports events.

When I am on the vacation usually I spend my time traveling around the world.

Working for the Valens 

What are your primary responsibilities and what does your day-to-day look like?

I work as a full stack engineer on the MetaMask project. My responsibilities are to deliver clean code for the tasks that I am assigned. I work as part of the professional service team and we help the core team to upgrade the MetaMask application to be even better than now.

My day starts with a daily stand up then I switch to coding and finish my tasks in the middle of the day we have a meeting with the client and then I finish with coding again.

Are you an iPhone or android type of person?

This is quite an interesting question for me. I use to use only Android phones then I got a gift from Velns, which was Apple Watch. I couldn't use it without iPhone, so I needed to buy Apple iPhone to use my gift.

At first, I was not impressed by iPhone and wanted to switch back to Android. But now, when I got used to it, I can call myself an iPhone person.

What is the best vacation you’ve been to?

My best vacation was defenelty in Madrid.

I am a big fan of the football club Real Madrid. This year they played in the semi-finals of the Champions League against Manchester City. They lose the first game, and the second game was in Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu stadium. I decided to take a vacation and go support my club in Madrid. Real Madrid was losing 2 min before the end of the game, but somehow they scored 2 goals and won the game. Amazing experience.

In your opinion, what are the hallmark traits of a great full-stack developer?

A Hallmark trait of the great full stack developer is someone who loves programming and really enjoys that. Not taking it as a job but as something that he loves to do. To be a great full-stack you must explore everything and want to understand everything about the web.

When you are working in the team, you are the person who knows the most because you work both backend and frontend and you can communicate more easily with the team

What have you gained from working at Valens?

Working in the Valens I gained a lot of knowledge related to programming and full stack positions. Besides that, I gained experience working on some amazing projects like MetaMask, the most popular blockchain wallet that has been used by 40 million users. And most importantly I gained friends, some of the colleagues from Valens became really good friends of mine.
