Time to meet the Software Engineer at Stage Coding, Ajdin!

What are your primary responsibilities and what does your day-to-day look like?

As a Flutter developer, my primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining mobile applications using the Flutter framework, collaborating with other team members to ensure that the project requirements are met, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile app development.

On a day-to-day basis, I typically spend time reviewing and analyzing project requirements, planning and implementing new features or updates, testing and debugging code, and communicating with other team members to ensure that everyone is on the same page. Additionally, I prioritize tasks based on deadlines and work collaboratively with other developers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure that the project is progressing as planned.

Overall, my goal is to contribute to the success of the project by delivering high-quality code, meeting project timelines, and communicating effectively with other team members.

What is the next life milestone you want to achieve?

As a professional, my next life milestone is to continue developing my skills and expertise as a Flutter developer, and to work on increasingly complex and challenging projects. I am committed to ongoing learning and professional development, and I plan to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in mobile app development.

Outside of my professional goals, my next life milestone is to continue exploring new hobbies and interests, and to prioritize my physical and mental health. This might include taking up a new sport or activity, traveling to new places, or spending more time with friends and family. Ultimately, my goal is to maintain a healthy work-life balance and to continue growing both personally and professionally.

In your opinion, what are the hallmark traits of a great Software Engineer?

A great software engineer has strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, coding expertise, effective communication, continuous learning, and collaboration. They are passionate, hardworking, and committed to delivering high-quality code that meets clients' and users' needs. A great software engineer is able to break down complex problems, write efficient and maintainable code, and communicate technical concepts clearly. They work well in a team environment and are committed to ongoing learning and professional development. Overall, a great software engineer has a deep understanding of programming languages and frameworks, and is constantly seeking out new ways to improve their skills and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Why did you join Stage Coding, and what has kept you here?

I joined Stage Coding because I was drawn to their innovative approach to solving complex problems in the tech industry. The company culture was also a big factor for me, as I was impressed by the team's collaborative and supportive spirit, as well as the emphasis on work-life balance.

What has kept me at the company is the opportunity for growth and development that I have had since joining. I have been given the chance to work on challenging projects.

What has been your favorite project at Stage Coding?

As a Flutter developer, one of my favorite projects that I've worked on is a fitness mobile app. This app was designed to help users set fitness goals and track their progress towards those goals.

One of the key features of the app was a personalized workout plan, which was generated based on the user's fitness level, goals, and preferences. The app also included a library of exercises with step-by-step instructions and videos, making it easy for users to learn new exercises and techniques.

How do you spend your time outside of the office?

As a software engineer, it's important for me to take breaks from coding and spend time pursuing other interests and hobbies outside of the office. This helps me recharge and stay motivated in my work.

In my free time, I enjoy tinkering with new technologies, experimenting with different programming languages, and contributing to open source projects. I also like to attend meetups and conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and network with other developers.

Additionally, I like to stay active by going for a airsoft or hitting the gym. Regular exercise helps me stay focused and productive during the workday.

Finally, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Whether it's exploring new places or simply relaxing at home, spending quality time with loved ones is an important part of my life outside of the office.
