Time to meet the UX/UI Designer at Grapefruit, Balanica!

What's your motto or personal mantra?

I don't really relate to quotes or mantras, but this one made me fall in love with the design field. It's a quote from Albert Einstein "Creativity is intelligence having fun"

You're not a designer if you don't have that serious powerful pose, kidding.

What drew you to UX/UI? Have you always worked in Designer roles?

I started as a graduated Graphic Designer working on design related jobs such as branding, conceptual graphics and animation. After working on several web-based projects I fell in love with UI/UX.

Do you have any hobbies, go-to weekend activities, or long-term passion projects you’re working on?

I usually play video and VR Games. I'm very passionate about Dota 2. An outdoor activity that marked my attention is Airsoft. It combines my passion for video games and I can do some workout.

Describe what you were like at age 10.

When I was 10 I remember that I was very curious about how things work. I used to destroy all my toys and then repair them, or combine different components to create a new toy. Also, I was very passionate about building stuff with Lego and drawing.

Why did you join Grapefruit, and what has kept you here?

I joined Grapefruit because I really wanted to work in a big agency. The company values made me realize that it's a fit for me and I'm really glad that I made a good decision.

When are you the happiest?

I think that I'm happy all the time. I try to think and see things from a positive perspective no matter the moment. I'm a rational type of person and If a problem occurs, I try to solve it using rational thoughts.
