Time to meet the QA Engineer at Tapptitude, Adina!

In your opinion, what are the hallmark traits of a great QA engineer?

Being a quality assurance engineer brings out the best talent a person can have. You get to be a creative saboteur and think outside the box to find ways to break something that developers assembled in the first place. It also requires some detective work because there are always puzzles and issues to solve.

Since QAs are the final line of defense when an app goes live, quality will never go out of style and inclusive duty.

Why did you join Tapptitude, and what has kept you here?

Tapptitude has a unique feel to it. The people here are the ideal blend of professionals who are fun, dedicated, and creative. We’re here to build and deliver fantastic products, exchange expertise, and learn new things. Not to forget about the memorable memes that will crack you up every day.

I am excited about contributing to the company since I agree with its fundamental principles and the way it does business.

If you were an animal, what would you be?

A swan. You would be amazed at what these lovely creatures have to teach us. Swans do have a wedge leader. During the migratory event, the leadership role is typically rotated among the wedge, so almost every member has the opportunity to lead. This makes the leadership role not to be something they will fight over or place pressure on someone when he’s tired, and I love this about them.

Swans are excellent at lending a hand to one another.

How do you define success in life?

Success is a state of mind that is the direct outcome of self-satisfaction in knowing that you did everything in your power to become the most refined version of yourself possible and that your life is abundant. Recognizing this is an essential step toward feeling grateful for all that life has to offer. If you can sense this, you are already experiencing success.

Do you have any hobbies, go-to weekend activities, or long-term passion projects you’re working on?

I love horses and horse riding. I am under the impression that there is nothing alive quite so beautiful as a horse. I enjoy using acrylic paints when I feel inspired, and I've created a comfortable space in my bedroom that I'm pretty pleased with.

My long-term goal is to start playing tennis every weekend. I'm still honing my abilities. Fortunately, I discovered other employees who might play with me on the court!

What's your motto or personal mantra?

I do have a few, though. Since high school, I've been doing this, and I must admit, it's my breakfast. I declare aloud that "Today is the happiest day of my life" as soon as I wake up. It’s a fantastic affirmation to set the day with positivity and faith that everything you experience that day is serving your greater good.

And one more, which has enabled me to make decisions without hesitation or second-guessing: "Do it or don’t do it, you will regret both." This helped me to say "yes" to new opportunities that produced some amazing yet unexpected results.
