As part of an international team, we helped develop the Carvago startup’s core products—saving mechanics time and simplifying the car-buying process. We built the CarAudit™ mobile app, worked on OMNETIC, a dealership management system, and collaborated on Carvago’s corporate website, all while ensuring secure data handling and a seamless user experience.
Challenge, approach, and impact
1. Cross-Platform Mobile Performance
We needed to develop a responsive mobile application that maintained high performance and usability across both iOS and Android devices. Ensuring smooth operation on various screen sizes and system environments was critical for mechanics using tablets and phones in real-world conditions.
2. Offline Mode Implementation
One of the most technically demanding tasks was building a reliable offline mode. The application had to allow mechanics to complete full inspections without internet access—securely storing data locally and syncing it once reconnected, without compromising accuracy or data integrity.
3. Scalable Feature Delivery
The project required implementing a scalable architecture that could support gradual rollout of new features. As the app evolved, it had to remain stable and user-friendly, all while integrating with Carvago’s broader ecosystem, including OMNETIC and the corporate website.
