Long-term engagement since 2016 for Verge Sport, a global sportswear brand. We built and run a multilingual e-commerce platform with a closed dealer area for many independent dealer companies, integrated with the client’s production/ERP systems, and migrated their legacy ERP to ASP.NET on Azure. Most recently we added production AI-model integrations: AI flags discrepancies in pre-press files and an operator makes the final call.
Challenge, approach, and impact
Legacy Production System
The customer’s production infrastructure is located both in Europe and in Asian countries. The existing production management system required improvements in terms of functionality, safety and convenience. Our task was to smoothly take over the work on the system from a Dutch software house and introduce the required upgrades without disturbing the production process.
Dealer System Modernization
Independent dealer companies use a closed dealer system built in ASP.NET. It is being moved step by step to newer technology, while staying integrated with the client’s production/ERP systems.
AI-Assisted Pre-Press Quality Control
Production files must match the design approved by the customer. We integrated an AI model into the ERP: it compares the uploaded file with the approved visualization and describes discrepancies (e.g. missing sponsor logo, wrong player name). The operator rejects the file or approves it anyway, with the override logged. AI advises, a human decides.
