About
Sixcore designed and built Lexa, a Rails multi-tenant commerce platform that runs branded storefronts, POS, inventory and finance on one engine. Flagship tenant AXEL (axel.mk), a home-fitness retailer in North Macedonia, launched with 331 products, bundles, loyalty, gift cards, local card and instalment payments, courier integration and an AI shopping assistant. Two more storefronts, B2C and B2B, followed within weeks.
Challenge, approach, and impact
One platform, many independent brands
Each storefront needs its own catalogue, pricing, promotions, customers, domain and branding, fully isolated from the others, without forking the codebase every time a new brand comes on board.
Commerce and back office in one system
A Macedonian retailer doesn't just sell online: it runs in-store POS, multi-warehouse stock, supplier purchasing, VAT-inclusive pricing and statutory fiscal receipts. Separate shop, ERP and POS tools were the status quo we had to replace.
Local payments, delivery and marketing from day one
Launch required local card payments (CPay), buy-now-pay-later instalments (Iute), cash on delivery, courier labels and tracking, plus email, SMS and ad-platform tracking, all configurable per tenant.

Testimonials
Davor M.
AXEL
“We needed more than an online shop. We wanted one platform that could run AXEL's store, POS, stock and fiscal reporting, and then let us launch more brands without starting over. Sixcore delivered exactly that with Lexa. AXEL went live in about ten weeks, two more storefronts followed soon after, and the AI assistant has become part of how customers shop. The team owned it end to end and kept the architecture clean enough that adding a new store is a setting, not a project.“
