MobiDev modernized Swiss-based Operaio’s ITSM portal through a UX/UI redesign and a high-efficiency combinatorial testing strategy. By using the ACTS tool for pairwise testing, the team achieved exhaustive coverage with only 37 test cases instead of thousands, significantly cutting QA costs and boosting reliability for enterprise and government clients.

Managing Complexity in IT Services
Operaio provides highly customizable ITSM solutions based on Microsoft System Center Service Manager (SCSM). The primary challenge was the sheer volume of field-type combinations and variable configurations within the portal, which made traditional manual testing nearly impossible. The scope included a complete UX/UI audit and redesign to make the interface more intuitive, as well as the creation of a scalable QA framework that the in-house team could sustain.
