About
The large Retail company was facing a significant challenge in managing and tracking our employees' working hours and needed a solution that would automate the process and ensure accuracy. We developed a system for counting employees' working hours. Employees simply approach the device upon arrival and the system automatically identifies them and records their check-in time.
Challenge, approach, and impact
Manual and fragmented employee activity tracking
The client lacked a centralized system to track employee working hours and activity. Data was collected manually or across disconnected tools, making it difficult to monitor productivity, ensure transparency, and generate consistent reports. This resulted in limited visibility into daily operations and increased administrative overhead.
Limited visibility into workforce productivity
Managers had no unified view of employee activity, attendance, and time allocation. The absence of real-time insights made it difficult to evaluate workload distribution, identify inefficiencies, and support data-driven management decisions.
