Led the design and implementation of a modern Microsoft Fabric ready architecture (Synapse, Power BI, Databricks, Medallion model) - data platform for one of the largest oil and retail distribution companies in Southeast Europe. As Data Architect and Team Lead, was responsible for defining the overall data architecture, overseeing the end-to-end delivery, ensuring the best data engineering practices and guiding a cross-functional team through all phases of the project. The solution was built using Data Vault 2.0 methodology and a medallion architecture approach to ensure scalability and adaptability. The key roles include: conducting business analysis to align technical solutions with operational needs, leading the development of automated ELT pipelines and reusable data frameworks, ensuring data quality through automated UAT tests and providing detailed documentation.

Played a key role in the design and implementation of a modern, end-to-end data enablement lakehouse platform for a leading telecommunications provider. The platform was constructed using a medallion structure, with Data Vault 2.0 and Kimball models implemented in a lakehouse structure aligned with Fabric’s medallion semantic layering and Power BI integration for consumption. Primary responsibilities included data modeling, leading the implementation of the Data Vault methodology and owning the design and development of the Gold layer, enabling structured, high-performance reporting for domains such as marketing, finance and operations. Automation was central to the architecture, ensuring scalability, consistency, and traceability of data processing, while eliminating manual interventions. Key role in a data democratization project for a leading Bank in the region. Led the design of a foundational data mart used for daily analysis and reporting in a Core Banking environment, initially driven by stored procedures and predefined reports. The purpose of the project was a complete data transformation in the company, focused on enabling business users to independently create and adapt reports to their specific needs, significantly reducing IT dependency. The solution was developed with strong emphasis on data governance, quality, and regulatory compliance, ensuring trusted and auditable insights across the organization.
