The client requested the development of a tool that would allow car dealers to quickly and effectively secure customized financing and insurance offers for vehicles. The project involved multiple development phases, throughout which there was a systematic integration of the client’s application with the systems of both banking and non-banking institutions that provide vehicle financing and insurance products.
Challenge, approach, and impact
1. Fragmented Leasing Workflow
Car dealers had to use multiple third-party systems to gather leasing offers, re-enter basic data, and manually export results to Excel. This fragmented process slowed down sales and created inefficiencies in customer interactions.
2. Complex API Integration
Integrating with various financial institutions posed a major challenge due to differing API standards and architectures. Ensuring smooth communication across all partners while maintaining system stability required careful planning and execution.
3. Regional and Legal Variability
The application had to account for differing legislative requirements and business practices across the Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia. These legal and regional differences complicated the system design and required ongoing adaptability.
