About
SIKO's legacy B2B e-commerce platform could no longer meet its evolving strategy, rising customer demands, or global expansion plans. Building on positive B2C experience with SAP Commerce, SIKO chose to migrate its B2B channel to the same platform—leveraging existing features, seamless ERP/CRM integration, and the scalability needed for international growth.
Challenge, approach, and impact
Legacy B2B Platform Outdated
SIKO’s original in‑house B2B e‑commerce system no longer aligned with its evolving business strategy, rising customer expectations, and plans for international expansion. The scope included a full migration of the B2B channel to a modern, scalable platform.
Parallel B2B + B2C Platform Integration
The challenge wasn’t just platform change: SIKO already had its B2C channel on SAP Commerce Cloud, and the scope required the new B2B solution to integrate and operate in parallel with the existing B2C setup without conflict or disruption.
Deep Wholesale Business Logic and Multi‑system Integration
The scope included understanding and supporting complex wholesale processes (quotations, credit limits, import lists etc.) and integrating seamlessly with SIKO’s ERP and CRM systems to unify data and processes across channels.
