About
The Eleveo software includes a user management interface, for which the customer had prepared a new UX design. However, to implement this, they needed to develop a new frontend to replace an outdated third-party solution. To save on administrative costs associated with hiring additional internal resources, they decided to outsource this part of the development. The development team consisted of frontend developers and QA experts.
Challenge, approach, and impact
Legacy Integration Complexity
The existing backend systems were built on legacy architecture, making it difficult to introduce a modern frontend without disrupting critical data flows. Seamless integration with these older systems required detailed analysis, careful API handling, and significant architectural considerations.
UX/UI Overhaul with Technical Constraints
The client demanded a fresh, modern user interface that aligned with their updated design standards. However, implementing this overhaul required balancing visual expectations with the technical limitations of the underlying infrastructure and existing workflows.
Cross-Functional Team Synchronization
The frontend development team had to quickly adapt to a new project ecosystem, collaborating with multiple stakeholders including design teams, backend engineers, and QA specialists. Ensuring efficient communication and a smooth delivery process within tight timelines was a key project scope challenge.
