Multi-factor authentication (MFA) was incorporated as an optional yet highly recommended layer of security. This additional authentication step served as a fail-safe, further fortifying the system against potential unauthorized attempts to access or modify the Prescription images. To facilitate compliance with medical data regulations and privacy standards, we implemented thorough logging and monitoring procedures. This ensured a comprehensive audit trail for all Prescription uploads, enabling us to trace and review any actions taken within the system. By adhering to AWS S3 best practices, we not only fortified the security of the Prescription image upload process but also ensured scalability, durability, and high availability of the stored data. This comprehensive approach lays a solid foundation for secure medical data management in any future projects.
