About
Amiqa Tech is an AI powered hotel management platform for independent hoteliers, centralizing reservations, room management, pricing, OTA synchronization, direct bookings, and payments in one ecosystem. UppLabs engineers extended the Amiqa team to develop and expand the product using React, Tailwind CSS, Zustand, and Node.js. Result: a connected platform now used by 50+ hotels.
Challenge, approach, and impact
Fragmented Hotel Operations
Independent hotels managed reservations, rooms, pricing, and payments across disconnected tools, which caused manual work and errors. The platform had to bring everything into one connected system that small hotel teams could use daily without technical training.
OTA Synchronization Without Double Bookings
Availability and rates had to stay in sync across major OTAs and the hotel’s own direct channels in real time. Any delay risked overbookings, lost revenue, and damaged guest trust, so synchronization reliability was a core requirement.
Manual Pricing Decisions
Small hotels rarely have revenue management resources and often set rates by hand. The product needed AI supported pricing that reacts to demand and reduces the daily effort required from busy hoteliers.
Fast Growth With a Lean Team
Amiqa needed to expand features and onboard more hotels faster than its in house team could deliver. This required senior engineers who could join the workflow quickly and keep product quality consistent while the roadmap grew.
