Challenge, approach, and impact
Performance Optimization
The app’s performance needed significant improvement. We redesigned its logic, eliminated unnecessary elements, and rewrote the code to make it faster and more efficient.
Feature Expansion
The app required many new features, including in-app chat and appointment scheduling, to enhance the customer experience and make shopping more interactive.
Mobile Version Development
A mobile version of the app (iOS) had to be created from scratch, while ensuring it was fully integrated with the existing web version for store owners.
BigQuery Synchronization
To handle advanced analytics, we synchronized the app with BigQuery. The challenge was speeding up data request processing, which we solved by implementing caching with Cube.js.
Real-Time Communication
We integrated Twilio for real-time video calls and chat, ensuring smooth communication between shoppers and sellers.
User-Centric Design
The app needed to be intuitive and user-friendly for both shoppers and sellers, with features like customizable video backgrounds and interactive scheduling.
