Rootstack supported Intcomex in integrating its ERP with Shopify to create the e-Commerce platform for a watch brand managed by Intcomex.
Automated Product Upload
Products from Intcomex's ERP are automatically uploaded to Shopify, including technical and dimensional aspects, while images are uploaded directly from the Shopify environment.
Order Processing and Fulfillment
When a user makes a purchase on Cubitt's e-Commerce on Shopify, a booking is created on the parcel company's website for product pickup and delivery. The ERP records the order, payment, and delivery details after the user makes a purchase.
Azure Cloud Infrastructure
The project's functions are hosted on the Azure cloud, specifically using Azure Functions for various tasks like product creation, updates, inventory management, order processing, payment handling, and shipment creation. Azure Functions provide scalability, high availability, and the ability to version and scale functions as needed.
