The Duke Sense to Know (S2K) Study is focused on developing faster, technology-driven methods to assess child development that can be used by parents at home. Through the app, infants watch short videos and engage in a playful bubble-popping game. While children interact with the content, their responses are recorded, enabling researchers to analyze behavioral patterns and gain insights into developmental progress. The application was hosted on a Duke University server. Currently, the goal is to expand the infrastructure so that other universities can also use it. The work involves DevOps and infrastructure tasks, as well as the development of dashboards to display study results and processing status. Features are extracted from videos to detect failures or identify areas for improvement in the process. Additionally, the infrastructure is being migrated to AWS using Terraform for resource provisioning.
