At Pento.ai, we developed Benteveo, an AI-powered candidate ranking system that streamlines HR operations with bias-free evaluation and automated resume verification. The solution standardizes candidate information from LinkedIn profiles and resumes, enabling AI agents to evaluate candidates against job requirements with great accuracy matching.
Challenge, approach, and impact
Time-Intensive Manual Candidate Evaluation
Internal technical and operation teams ware spending 3 minutes per candidate for initial screening, often reviewing 100+ candidates per job opening. This manual process created significant bottlenecks in recruitment workflows and delayed hiring decisions for critical positions.
Inconsistent Candidate Assessment Standards
Manual evaluation processes led to inconsistent scoring and potential bias in candidate assessment. Additionally, after several candidates evaluation, the task becomes harder to evaluate, making it unfair for the candidates in the bottom of the list to analyze. Different reviewers applied varying criteria, making it difficult to fairly compare candidates and ensure objective hiring decisions.
Resume Verification and Data Standardization
Extracting and standardizing candidate information from diverse sources like LinkedIn profiles and uploaded resumes was time-consuming and led to interview processes that were unnecessary because of misleading information put in candidates' resumes.
