Challenge, approach, and impact
Background
Our client aimed to create a comprehensive travel platform allowing users to plan, customize, purchase, and manage travel packages seamlessly. The platform needed to cater to both AI-generated and fully custom travel experiences, with robust features for bookings, tickets, notifications, and account management.
Challenge 1: Personalized Travel Planning
Users required flexibility to plan trips for themselves and companions, including flights, hotels, transfers, dining, and attractions, without unnecessary constraints. The platform needed to handle both AI-generated package suggestions and fully manual, custom trip creation.
Challenge 2: Seamless Booking, Payment & Post-Booking Management
Ensuring secure, real-time booking confirmations and payment processing across multiple methods (credit/debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay via Stripe) within tight time windows posed significant technical challenges. Additionally, the platform needed a robust system for managing bookings, tickets, cancellations (full or partial), and notifications, while providing users with clear, real-time updates and control over their travel information.
Challenge 3: UI/UX Design and Branding
The project required an intuitive and visually appealing interface to guide users through complex travel planning and booking workflows. Consistent branding and UX patterns were essential to ensure a seamless, user-friendly experience for both guest and authorized users across multiple devices. To ensure a cohesive and memorable user experience, we developed a distinct visual identity for the platform. This included a modern color palette, typography, and logo.
