A window and door manufacturer regained access to critical applications after outsourced developers left without knowledge transfer. Ollon reverse engineered the applications, conducted a security review, and mapped the Azure environment, enabling the company to regain control of its code and support the sale of two divisions.

Application Recovery and Reverse Engineering
The client's outsourced development team was removed without any knowledge transfer, leaving more than 20 critical applications running in Azure with no source code ownership and no one internally who understood how they worked.
Application Architecture Mapping
The Azure environment had grown for years without documentation, and the code in the Azure DevOps repository often did not match what was actually deployed in production. For some applications, no matching source could be found at all.
Code Review and Design Review
Beyond an inventory, the client needed to know whether the recovered code was sound. Undocumented design decisions and shortcuts left by the previous team made the internal team hesitant to resume development.
Security Review
No one internally could say whether the environment was secure. The business needed a clear security posture ahead of the planned sale of two of its divisions.
Ongoing Fractional DevOps Support
Without an owner, the Azure infrastructure had drifted away from how the applications actually worked, and the client had no in-house capacity to keep it patched, configured, and monitored.
