This project involved the development of an iOS and iPadOS application for controlling lighting systems on movie sets. The app provided users with a streamlined interface to adjust lighting configurations in real-time, enhancing efficiency and precision during film production. The backend was initially built using a no-code platform to allow for rapid prototyping and early stakeholder feedback, ensuring the project could quickly adapt to evolving requirements. As the app's functionality expanded, the backend was transitioned to a custom Ruby on Rails solution.

Particle Quest was an augmented reality (AR) treasure hunt game in an immersive entertainment venue in Las Vegas. The game was designed for iPhones, with users wearing a specialized mask-like device to enhance the AR experience. Players explored the venue while interacting with virtual elements overlaid onto the real world, creating an engaging and immersive experience. The backend of the app was responsible for tracking player progress, and ensuring smooth integration between the virtual and physical environments. A cool feature of the game was its integration with a full-scale LED tree. The tree was electronically synced with the app, reacting dynamically to user interactions as they advanced through the game. This real-time feedback between the physical tree and the AR experience enhanced the sense of immersion, making "Particle Quest" a unique blend of virtual gaming and physical space interaction.
