Challenge, approach, and impact
Managing Real-Time Demand at Scale
Energy providers struggle with a lack of real-time visibility into usage patterns, leading to operational inefficiencies and high infrastructure costs. The goal was to build a mobile-first system to streamline consumption tracking across 1.5 million users. Key technical hurdles included maintaining performance under peak server loads and integrating securely with a shared enterprise Identity Service governing over 10 distinct products.
