About
Esteemed veterinary medicine professionals established a biotechnology startup based in the United States. In collaboration with a skilled team of AI and hardware consultants at DAC.digital, they developed a groundbreaking wearable sensor for dogs.
Challenge, approach, and impact
Detect and diagnose osteoarthritis based on animal movements automatically
We conducted data analysis based on the provided data sets and input data, with the help of computing resources, artificial intelligence and machine learning model, with measurements of dog movements and to distinguish between dogs with and without OA based on the collected sensor’s raw data.
Low Technology Readiness Level of the Customer and need to check it
They needed a solid methodology to support further progress in the project. Acting as an Interim Product Owner, we conducted discovery meetings and workshops with the Aniv8 team. Our experts analyzed the current state of affairs and proposed a new roadmap to help move forward swiftly.
Unknowns regarding deep-learning solutions
We proposed a deep-learning approach to make the initial classification, assess the severity of the illness and then could be used to extract data and monitor the disease further. We have decided to employ deep learning models and a deep convolutional neural network for imaging data to recognize pat
