FinanzIA is the first AI-powered accounting automation platform in Guatemala, designed to streamline and digitize the full accounting workflow for firms and businesses. The solution automatically ingests SAT documents (DTEs), classifies transactions, generates accounting books, performs assisted bank reconciliation, and produces real-time IVA shadow declarations. The platform reduces manual workload by up to 70%, saving accountants more than 4 hours per week per client. Today, FinanzIA manages over 30M digitalized accounting records (DTE's) per month and continues scaling across LATAM. I led the AI strategy, technical architecture, and end-to-end implementation of the platform. I worked closely with engineering teams to define core features, optimize model performance, and scale the system to support hundreds of automated accounting processes. I also drove innovation initiatives that improved accuracy, adoption, and long-term product scalability.

I led the design and implementation of a shelf intelligence system for Colgate-Palmolive that automatically detects, classifies, and measures Colgate SKUs on supermarket gondolas across Central America. Using custom deep-learning computer vision models, the platform recognizes each SKU by packaging and size, counts facings, and calculates share of shelf and on-shelf availability. I architected the cloud backend and REST APIs that integrate directly with Colgate’s field app: merchandisers capture shelf photos, the backend processes them in near real time, and returns SKU counts and execution KPIs. I was responsible for the data strategy, model training pipeline, and overall solution design that replaced manual audits with automated, scalable retail execution analytics.
