With over 7 years of professional experience, Filip is an experienced software engineer ready to take on new challenges in the web development world. Filip found his passion for programming and computers at an early age, being introduced to computer games. Very soon after, in high school, he wanted to know what it takes to build one of his own games, which lead him to where he is today. He quickly realized that web development is where his true passion lies and started working with the basics in order to build a strong foundation - HTLM, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. After a while, Filip decided to go further with web development and started learning more about ReactJS, TypeScript, NodeJS, Redux, Python, Django and other languages/frameworks and libraries. From then on he had a chance to work with diverse teams, in different industries, and conquer new challenges, which build his skillset and strengthened his problem-solving thinking. Filip worked for a Canada web3 startup, building a plug-and-play bridging solution to allow permissionless token transfer across blockchains. Developed a dapp for secure cross-chain communication for web3 using the Axelar network that allows users to interact with any asset on any chain such as Avalanche, Fantom, Ethereum, and Polygon. Used a collection of React Hooks from the Wagmi library and EthersJS for interacting with the Ethereum chain. Built an admin dashboard using ReactJS and Redux for state management, React Native, and AdonisJS. Developed an interactive browser-based coding environment using React, Typescript, Redux, and GraphQL inspired by Jupyter Notebook, with many additional features added in. Participated in regular code review sessions and shared knowledge through presentations as a guest and presenter.
