Challenge and Scope of the Project
Challenge:
As BetterQA, we undertook the challenge of ensuring the reliability and stability of our client's web application. The primary aim was to catch regressions and issues early in the development process to enhance system stability.
Scope:
Our solution involved providing automated testing services using Cypress for the client's web application. We incrementally built a suite of automated Cypress tests to cover different areas of the application. These tests ran on every commit, ensuring continuous testing and early issue detection. Our role extended beyond test development, as we worked closely with the client's Head of Engineering, providing guidance and expertise.
The outcomes were highly positive. The automated test suite effectively detected regressions and issues, contributing to faster feature deployment and increased confidence in system stability.
