Scaling the application by using SaaS
As any fast-growing startup, ThinkOut initially favored development speed over scalability, so when the time came to scale the application for their ever-growing userbase, they felt the need to rewrite the application using battle-hardened techniques and technologies. An important factor in their decision was also the need to function both as a SaaS running in the cloud, but also on-premises on multiple platforms, to accommodate the needs of potential integration partners.
