Why did you join Ant Colony, and what has kept you here?

When I was on my first interview with the Ant Colony I remember saying to my mom that I felt like I could learn a lot there and that the company would be a great fit for me. Back then I accepted another offer from a different company that called me first thinking I didn't do well on my interview.

A few months later Ant Colony reached out again, I immediately accepted a job there and been here ever since. Great team, a chance to learn, improve and master your skills are only some of the things that kept me here.

I really enjoy working in such a positive enviroment and always feel like my (and everyone's) opinion is valued.

What do you find to be the most exciting aspect of Ant Colony?

The most exciting aspect of Ant Colony in my opinion is that you, as a developer, have a chance to work on the technologies and projects that interest you the most. We get asked what we enjoy working, what would be exciting for us and that's something I've always liked here.

How do you balance your career at Ant Colony and friends & family?

You are never expected to work outside your work hours so it is pretty easy to balance my career and friends & family. I get my work done on time and use my free time to go out, watch TV shows and spend it with friends.

What have you gained from working at Ant Colony?

Working at Ant Colony has gained me a lot of knowledge that my mentors kindly shared with me and helped me perfect my skills. Besides that, I gained a lot of self confidence regarding my work, but in my opinion that is tied to the previous statement.

What are 3 words to describe Ant Colony?

It's hard to do that for anything but if I have to choose only three words to describe Ant Colony they would be: Innovative, Fast-Growing and Inclusive.

What do you find the most challenging at Ant Colony?

I thought it would be fitting in, since I'm a bit of an introvert, but that wasn't the case, I felt like I've know the team since forever. Most challenging thing for me is actually communicating with the clients but it helps me cope with my social anxiety so it all works out!
