Since 2016, Agilno has perfected how we think about building high-quality software solutions on time and within budget. As a result, we help companies run complex business operations focused on creating digital products to produce revenue, reduce costs, and acquire more customers while taking pride in building long-lasting products that evolve our clients’ businesses.

Time to meet the Full Stack Developer at Agilno, Marin!

In your opinion, what are the hallmark traits of a great Full Stack Developer?

A developer should always remember their beginnings, we know answers to stupid questions because somebody answered that stupid question for you once. My personal motto is: “It’s better to ask stupid questions than to do stupid things”.

I think that any developer shouldn’t be scared to ask questions, no matter how stupid they think the question is. A stupid question can save hours of headaches and fruitless online searches in my opinion. Tying into that, a developer should always be ready and willing to answer questions from other developers.

What is the favourite part about working for Agilno?

My favourite thing about Agilno is the workplace atmosphere. The office has a very pleasant and casual atmosphere, and everyone is always lighthearted. My colleagues are friendly and helpful and are always cracking jokes.

What’s been the most memorable experience during your tenure so far at Agilno?

My first day at the office. I came in on a hot summer day, to an office full of people who greeted me as if I was an old friend. After that, the first thing I was shown was how to operate the coffee machine - because coffee is the most important daily ritual of course. I immediately realised I would love working here.

Do you have any hobbies, go-to weekend activities, or long-term passion projects you’re working on?

My most recent hobby has become 3D printing. I fell in love with it this summer, and have never stopped expanding my collection of filaments and experimenting with my printer. It also ties in nicely with my other hobbies, which are board gaming and pen-and-paper role-playing games.

Chillin'

What did you want to be when growing up?

An astronaut, of course. Unfortunately, my dreams of planting flags in faraway planets were shattered when I found out Croatia didn’t have a space program. My other great passion was working with computers, so I settled for web development.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Pizza! I feel it can be made with enough variations to not get boring in a single lifetime, and it can also be made healthy (or unhealthy) enough to suit my on and off periods of exercise and healthy living.
