Time to meet the Human Resources Manager at Agilno d.o.o, Karla!

What drew you to Human Resources? Have you always worked in Human Resources Manager roles?

When I started working in Agilno, there were 8 of us. The volume of work was much smaller than now. In the beginning, I assisted the CEO with Marketing and Human Resources. We started building the company together, creating the processes for future departments. A few months later I became responsible for marketing and human resources activities. The initial plan was when the company grows, I will continue working in Marketing which was my first desire, but since the first day, I took care of the employees, and I liked that so I took the position of Human Resources Manager.

At the end of this summer, it became official and we are looking for a new employee in Marketing.

What do you find to be the most exciting aspect of Agilno?

Our daily work is agile and things happen dynamically. Sometimes it can be stressful, but it’s certainly never boring. I couldn’t imagine myself in a job that is monotonous and where I would repeat the same tasks every day. I love the flexibility of my job and the amount of freedom in making decisions and implementing new activities and processes. I also like the people that I'm working with and our tradition about choosing the food for company lunch.

Do you have any hobbies, go-to weekend activities, or long-term passion projects you’re working on?

In my free time, I'm travelling, hiking, kickboxing, and skiing in the winter season. When I have time I also love to cook for my family and friends - they kinda like it :)

I also love graphic design, so when I catch some time I do product design or product logo design, mostly for my friends.

Describe what you were like at age 10.

At the age of 10, I didn't have much ambition and interest in anything special. I was all about cooking, painting, and art in general. I still love it but I'm using my creativity in another way.

When are you the happiest?

People who know me would say I’m happiest when I travel, but I’m equally happy when I’m lying on the sofa and watching Netflix after a hard day.

What advice do you have for prospective Agilno candidates?

Write a realistic state of your experience in your resume - don't waste the time of recruiters. ha-ha

Just kidding, be confident in what you say and open to receiving criticism to build the best possible version of yourself.
