Time to meet the Solution Architect at Expert Network, Florin-Constantin!

What is your proudest moment at Expert Network?

My proudest moment at Expert Network was the first presentation I conducted at the Expert Network Tech Days in May 2017, together with a good friend and colleague. This was an event we organized at the firm, where we invited an international guest with the purpose of knowledge-sharing, networking and building our tech community.

I remember that we had put an incredible amount of effort into our presentation and I’m proud of what we’d delivered, taking into account the experience level we had at that time. It was definitely a day to remember and one that made me realize to be more confident in my abilities.

Do you recall any embarrassing fun moment at work?

At my first anniversary with the company, some girl colleagues teased me, telling me how could I not bring cookies and soda for the celebration of Expert Network. I took their remark seriously so I sprinted to the nearest store and I bought cookies and sodas. When I returned with the goodies, I found out that they were just making fun and only said it as a joke. Needless to say, they did in fact appreciate the cookies and from that moment on, we got along very well.

What is the favourite part about working for Expert Network?

What I like most is the fact that I learn something new every day. I like a challenge and Expert Network stimulates me to discover new ways of doing things and to grow both professionally and personally.

Also, there's another part I enjoy quite much: the team buildings. They are fun and they include dancing, amazing locations and all the partying one can take. I never skipped one and I was never disappointed so far.

What are 3 words to describe Expert Network?

Simply put: autonomy, fun, and challenges.

Autonomy leads to greater motivation, innovation, and productivity and it’s something I value. It also matters that the people I work with are not only top professionals, but they are also charismatic and with fun personalities. Additionally, every day I need to come up with the right solutions for the tasks ahead. So, I don’t get bored a single day as my mind is constantly stimulated and enabled to think creatively with problem-solving.

How has Expert Network helped you in your career development?

This has been the place that allowed me to develop my abilities, explore new tech, become proficient, and find my way. I felt supported throughout my time here by participating in technical training sessions, working on stimulating projects while also being supported by a nice team. On top of that, my development was reinforced by my colleagues’ trust and by having autonomy in decision-making. All these combined created the magic formula that helped me progress.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I’m not a complicated man. I have a few things I usually enjoy eating and I stick to them because I know exactly what to expect and it gives me great pleasure. So if I had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of my life, I would choose pork steak with french fries. It’s simple, delicious, and my comfort food.
