Time to meet the BDR at Neurons Lab, Alexandra!
What are your primary responsibilities, and what does your day-to-day look like?
Working as BDM at Neurons Lab means I'm directly involved in lead generation and qualification processes. A big part of my day-to-day activities is making meaningful conversations with our potential clients, figuring out their main challenges and goals, and guiding them towards what would be the best solution for them at this stage.
So that you can recognize me when I reach out to you on LinkedIn
Why did you join Neuron Labs, and what has kept you here?
While there were many reasons to join Neurons Lab, what truly kept me here was the culture of innovative thinking and open-mindedness that has already and continues to push me to my limits and out of my comfort zone. It is a great learning experience, and I'm glad to get to learn from my colleagues.
How do you balance your career at Neuron Labs and friends & family?
To be honest, some days, I might focus more on work with a few outside work hours, but other days I might have more time to pursue my hobbies or learn a new skill or two.
But that doesn't mean my job is detached from my "outside-job" life. Since I work in sales with people, I often notice how the knowledge from one area of my life can be transferred to another and vice versa. And such connections truly inspire me.
Do you have any hobbies, go-to weekend activities, or long-term passion projects you’re working on?
I like to spend my free time out in the open, enjoying the sunny days as much as possible. My work requires a lot of focused time, and I like to balance it out with enjoying time in nature.
One of my biggest passions is doing yoga. This helps me to clear my thoughts and focus before work and relax after a long week.
this is me enjoying the sunshine outside
In your opinion, what are the hallmark traits of a great BDR?
There are a few, and I'm sure working at different companies or with different products greatly affects those.
But what I believe are the most valuable traits in my job (the ones I hope to master one day) are the ability to listen actively and curiosity to dig to the root of any challenges and issues there may be, as well as industry expertise to be able to find the best solution to support our client's goals.
What are your three most overused words/phrases?
I'm finding myself using these few phrases way too much, definitely more than I should.
- hope you have a great day so far
- i'm following up to make sure my last email didn't slip through the cracks
- Another great phrase to kill ultimately any conversation:
- if there is anything we could help you with in the future, don't hesitate to reach out
