Marcin Dżdża is a back-end developer at ORBA. He specializes in the PHP programming language and the e-commerce framework Magento 2. He manages and is a technical leader in international projects - as he says about himself: "I like ambitious tasks and learning new things."

What's your favorite way to spend time after work?

Definitely trips. If there is more time, it means longer trips, but I like even short trips outside the city.

What makes you happy?

It's simple: spending time with my family. I also really like learning new things, which happens quite often in my job, so I like my job a lot.

If you could have a superpower, what would that superpower be?

Time travel. Below, I will explain why this superpower would be best for me.

If you could go back to any moment in your life, what would you like to experience again?

I would like to relive all the free time I had in my school days. Now there are more responsibilities and necessities in life.

It is tempting to see that I could experience such a carefree time again.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Watching silly movies to relax after work. I think a lot of people relax this way, but it really works for me.

What were the circumstances when you started working at ORBA, what kept you here?

A friend working at ORBA encouraged me to apply for a job, and since I started, I get the opportunity to work on very interesting projects all the time. From the beginning of my work at ORBA, I have had constant support in my professional development, and so far I have had no reason to look for a new job.

Also, I see no reason for this to change in the near future 😊

What are the greatest difficulties you are facing in your role? How do you deal with them?

By far, the biggest problem is having to be a very multitasking person. As a technical leader I often have to deal with many problems at the same time, and this requires excellent time management. I am still learning how to divide my time into all tasks and not to be a bottleneck in the process.

Another important skill is delegating responsibilities and tasks - this is what I’m learning all the time, and I am doing better and better.

What do you value most about working at ORBA?

Support in my professional development - ORBA helps a lot in my personal development and allows me to achieve the highest level of my skills.

Another important thing is respect between all employees and working with wonderful people.
