Meet Kodius back(stage) office star, Martina!

Everybody likes the catchphrase “challenge accepted”, but we like “challenge completed” better! With the right people, any goal can be achieved. And by right people we mean those who aren’t afraid of different perspectives. That’s what our team is. Today when everyone claims they’re thinking outside the box, it is our belief there is no box. Can you tell us a little more about yourself?

Hi, My name is Martina. I am 29 years old and have a child, Adrian. They say that I am sociable, loud (sometimes even too loud), a hearty person who is happy to help and does not lose hope in good people. I am the back office manager at Kodius and have been doing office work for almost 5 years. I really like binders, sticky papers, paints, papers - in a word, order, otherwise, I don't know how to function.

What are your primary responsibilities and what does your day-to-day look like?

My position at Kodius is a back-office manager. So it is a constant concern for people, office, suppliers, finances, and customers. I am currently running a job whose purpose is to present our company in a good light, both internally and externally, in addition, I take care of outgoing and incoming invoices. I keep records of workers, payment of salaries, and annual leaves.

What do you find to be the most exciting aspect of [company name]?

What I like the most is the freedom that this company provide what I did not have in previous companies. I have the freedom to organize my own working day and I am not obliged to explain to anyone where I am going and what I am doing, it is important that the work is done on time and that clients and employees are satisfied.

What’s your next step, or a few goals you’d like to accomplish in life, or while with Kodius?

Some of my wishes for the future would definitely be to finish school and enroll in that desired faculty (which I know I will enroll in one day :)

Any exceptional talent you want to brag about?

Hmm, If I have to brag, I multitask. Somehow I am doing well in that rush and confusion of today's life, and I like that.

Do you have any hobbies, weekend activities, or long-term passionate projects that you work on?

I love walking in nature and baking cakes, as well as rollerblading. But since I’m a mom, my activities on the weekends are usually reduced to washing and ironing, haha, but that’s also a part of life.
