Excellent interpersonal skills, detailed methodological knowledge, and problem-solving skills—who is this guy? Q’s PM Davor! He runs Q’s projects and marathons as well. Both demand patience, dedication, and hard work; maybe that’s the catch! Q’s clients love him, and so does the Q team, especially because he makes the best cheesecake ever! He loves traveling, so if you ever seek a last-minute travel buddy, give him a call!

How did you first learn about Q Agency?

By accident, on some random news portal, I found an article about Q. I was fascinated by the story of their success and growth, and I was like, “Wow, that’s it”.

At this moment, I knew that I wanted to be part of that inspiring story. I saw myself bringing my unique visioning ability to this company.

We clicked on the first interview. My previous work experience included innovation in many areas, including strategies for more effective teamwork and communication among members of different project teams.

I knew I could bring to Q not only my ideas from my previous job, but my general passion for innovation too. And then, finally, I joined the Q team.

What are 3 words to describe Q?

1. Challenging: Growing businesses like Q face a range of challenges. Different problems and opportunities demand different solutions - so you gotta be able to adapt to new situations and embrace the change.
2. Sparky - you’ll assume that employee engagement will decrease over time in the company. I’ve been here for more than two years now, and I can tell you that I still feel the spark with every new project that comes my way!
3. Agile - Q was working in an agile business model even before it became a buzzword. It offers various benefits focused on continuous improvement and numerous competitive advantages; that’s why Q dominates the market and attracts the best talent!

What is on your wishlist for the next 5 years with Q?

I want to continuously deliver successful projects, to work on projects from different fields/industries, and improve my business skills. I don’t want to stagnate as a project manager. The field is constantly evolving, and to stay a step ahead, I’m gonna roll up my sleeves. As the old saying goes, practice makes perfect.

Davor loves traveling, so he was one of our hosts on Q talks, an online event where Qumans can present their trips, hobbies, or unique skill sets. Davor took us on a journey to the Philippines!!

How do you describe your work personality vs. your home life personality?

I am very responsible at work, and I believe that I have a good relationship with my colleagues. I believe the key to maintaining things like that is honest and transparent communication.

In my private life, I nurture quality relationships with people around me since they are the ones who have the most influence and impact on my life. They are the ones I know I can trust, and I feel comfortable enough around to be myself completely.

How do you define success in life?

I believe success consists of many things. To me, success is the right balance between a great career and private life or just remembering to balance work with passion. Creating a possibility to earn for a decent life, and having a freedom to enjoy it with the people you love.

What is the next life milestone you want to achieve?

My next milestone in life is to have my own startup. I believe if you have a dream, you can realize it through hard work. Before that, I really need a new car, but somehow I always spend the money on other things.

When are you the happiest?

A lot of things can make me happy, like an interesting challenge at work, for example. But the type of happiness that fuels me and drives me forward the most is that feeling when I’m on vacation – traveling, exploring places, attending music events, and partying.

What is the best vacation you’ve been to?

My best vacation was in Thailand in 2017, a fantastic 3-weeks trip all around the country. It was one of the most amazing and memorable experiences of my life. Those three weeks full of fun spent with my friends brought us so close, something that we will never forget.

Thailand was amazing in so many ways, and my gang was so synchronized it was like we're in heaven.

Who is your favorite (song)writer?

One and only - Lana Del Rey, one of America’s greatest living songwriters. Her songs are intangible, like magic - they have always sounded like lonely missives from the end of the world with a beachside view.

I enjoy watching the world through her hushed and psychedelic lens.
