Time to meet the Senior Art Director at OLDBOY, Antonio!

What is your favorite part about working for OLDBOY?

For me, it is important to be part of a multidisciplinary team, to have autonomy in the development of my work, and flexible working hours to be able to reconcile work and personal life. I also value the fact that my bosses are accessible and that I can maintain a direct and close relationship with them to deal with any issues.

What is on your wish list for the next 5 years with OLDBOY?

In the next five years, I would like to take on new challenges and evolve professionally by expanding my knowledge and skills in other areas of design that can complement the needs of OLDBOY CD, such as software, 3D, and motion graphics tools. But above all, I would like to continue to be part of the OLDBOY CD project.

How do you balance your career at OLDBOY and friends & family?

Being a father of two girls, I need to reconcile my work and personal life, and OLDBOY CD fortunately also takes this into account. I have had all the facilities and support from the company to be able to organize my work. Weekends are a great time to make different plans with the family and meet up with friends!

Do you have any hobbies, go-to weekend activities, or long-term passion projects you’re working on?

One of my favorite hobbies is playing the guitar, I always try to find some time, even if it's only for 15 minutes, to play the guitar. I also like to do sports a lot. At the moment I'm preparing for the half marathon in Madrid and one of my latest hobbies, which I enjoy, is freediving, as the feeling of freedom and tranquillity is great.

Do you recall any embarrassing fun moments at work?

A very funny and at the same time gratifying moment, as I realized that my colleagues remembered me, was when I came back from a summer holiday and they surprised me with a giant poster of my face hanging in the office, which they had printed out themselves with the office printer and mounted sheet by sheet...

Are you an iPhone or android type of person?

IPhone sin duda... Since my early days at work, I have used a Mac and have been associated with the Apple universe, so it was natural for me to have an iPhone from the start. I think it would be difficult for me now to have a device that wasn't an iPhone. It's been 12 years since my first iphone4!!!!
