Do you have any hobbies, go-to weekend activities, or long-term passion projects you’re working on?

I love to cook - it's my favorite thing to do on the weekends. I love eating delicious food and finding creative ways to make people happy. Cooking is about so much more than just making a meal- it's about creating connections and memories too.

I like to research some architectural salvage that would look great in our home someday. Architecture fascinates me because we often think we know what we want aesthetically; architecture is an expressive art form with freedom and infinite possibilities. You never know what new idea will come out.

My other hobbies are photography and reading.

What's your favourite line from a movie?

My favorite line from a movie is "If you're not with us, you're against us." It applies in real life.

What is the best vacation you’ve been to?

I've taken my fair share of vacations over the years, and I love to travel.

It's hard for me to narrow it down to one, but I would say my favorite trip was camping in the Alps.

The campground we were at had a pool with water so hot it felt remarkably like bathwater, and there were huge trees right next to each other, so when you sat outside, your whole day could be looking up.

When are you the happiest?

The happiest I've ever been is when I'm on vacation. Any time of the year, any destination, so long as it's marvelous and new, an entirely different world for a little while. It doesn't have to be expensive either.

What's your motto or personal mantra?

"Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood." - Marie Curie

Marie Curie was best known for her work on radioactivity. She showed that radioactive material, like uranium, breaks down over time into other elements (like radium), and invented techniques for refining radioactive substances by extracting isotopes of purified minerals with high densities of the atoms needed to make them detectable.

For her contributions to science she won two Nobel prizes in Physics and Chemistry, one in each category. And she never let fear get in the way of her pursuits--her motto perfectly describes how Marie Curie lived her life by understanding what she was up against instead of letting it get the better of her.
