Time to meet the Flutter developer at Kamino, Simon!
Why did you join Kamino, and what has kept you here?
I joined the company since they were expanding their Flutter department, and working with this technology is my passion for the past few years.
I'm part of the company for almost half a year, and so far is been a great experience. I like the company culture (flexibility, option to work remote, transparancy) and projects.

How do you spend your time outside of the office?
In the free time I like play tennis, do some hiking & hang out with friends. Even with co-workers; It makes working together more enjoyable and helps us stay motivated during crunch time.
I'm also a fan of playing video games.
Do you have an office nickname? What is it?
Yes, I do have it. My nickname is Duki. It's just a short version of my surname Dukarič (there is no other story behind it really), and I really like it.
How did you first learn about Kamino?
They contacted me via Linkedin, since they were expanding their Flutter team, one of my main technical skills.
It sounded very interesting since our first conversation, and I was also ready for new opportunities at that time.

What do you like most about Kamino?
That the company an its CEO is very open to employees; we can have open conversations and transparency on what is happening at the company as well as receiving lots of feedback on personal professional improvement and goals.
How do you define success in life?
When you feel happy inside and when you dont ask yourself "what if i had done that" and when you have no regrets.
The biggest thing about living without regret is learning when to say yes. Saying no too often leads to missed opportunities and missed connections with others.
