Time to meet the Scrum Master at Sprintform, Daniel!
Why did you join Sprintform, and what has kept you here?
Luckily András found me during a job search at my previous place, where I worked on several multinational projects.
For me, it was a breath of fresh air to start working at a small company that feels a lot more like home compared to the usual corporate environment, mainly because I can also shape our company in the way I see fit. This effect makes investing your time and effort worthwhile as you can feel your impact during the company's growth.
It's me, Daniel
What do you find to be the most exciting aspect of Sprintform?
I think most companies in this segment are going after the "easy money" to have employees' bodies leased to any upcoming Projects. While this approach takes substantially less effort to accomplish, it is not as ambitious as delivering the whole Project which we are aiming to do.
I found this kind of setup a lot more appealing simply because you get to work with your colleagues on different topics, and an experienced Team works & delivers way faster than selling colleagues one by one to different Projects and working with different people all the time.
How do you describe your work personality vs. your home life personality?
I try to keep it as close as possible because we should aim to have a working environment where we can be ourselves (to a sensible extent, of course (:
Maybe the biggest difference is that during work, I am not relaxed until my duties are done, and that kind of pressure is not present with my everyday tasks as I am more laid back with my deadlines.
When are you the happiest?
Numerous Lego bricks need to be in place for me to feel satisfied, but most revolve around my emotions and the ability to give and receive happiness which moves like currents from one island to another.
When I can make others happy (either by voluntary work or just spending time with friends & family) and others spend time & care about me, that’s when I feel that everything is as it should be.

What's your favorite line from a movie?
It's a quote, though not from a movie but a game (Far Cry series):
"Insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly, expecting **** to change."
Had a quick background check to see that the original's coming from Einstein & from a ~slightly different context, but for me, the game variant has a really fun taste, especially when I'm seeing the 8th multinational Project which tries/tried to Agile transform itself and seeing the same mistakes again and again... this line makes it easier to deal with the usual issues (:
If given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?
I'd like to be a rock (not the Dwayne Johnson-type), but just an... ordinary rock. Preferably at a coastline where I'd feel the waves of the sea gently running through me again and again. I hope no seagulls would use me as a tuna can opener, but even if I shattered, it shouldn't hurt.
Being tranquil and not having to care about anything seems like an extraordinary way to spend a day.
