Time to meet the Tech Lead at Marble IT, Aleksandar!

Why did you join Marble IT, and what has kept you here?

MarbleIT provided great opportunity for my progress early in the career. My professional journey started only about half a year before I joined MarbleIT.

Dedication and professionalism I tried to show were seen by upper management and it was a great motivation for me to do better. MarbleIT values people, that is the core.

During the time, we've established a great culture and atmosphere inside the office. Combined culture and fun technical challenges provide entertaining environment which makes our company great for long time commitment.

How has Marble IT helped you in your career development?

I am always eager to learn new and exciting things, and use that knowledge to create valuable software products. I am not afraid to jump into new technologies and it motivates me to do better.

My role is the product of that and company policies that allowed me to continuously upgrade myself and my skills.

What is your proudest moment at Marble IT?

There is no one particular moment I could mention here. I feel the proudest when my team and I step out of our comfort zone to achieve results together.

We are motivated to create great products. Great products create great challenges. Working with people that are dedicated even though things are really hard, makes me feel proud.

What's your motto or personal mantra?

Make choices that will help you be happier and more satisfied with yourself in the present or near future.

This helps me to organize my time so that I can focus on things which are the most beneficial for my well being. Also, it helps me to motivate myself when doing things which are hard and not rewarding at the moment.

What is the next life milestone you want to achieve?

For the most part of the last few years, I dedicated my time to learn and grow profesionally. I think now I am at the point where my productivity is at the level where I can learn more in less time.

This gives me time to reflect on a few big travel ideas I had in that period. So my next life milestone would be to try and organize those trips in the next couple of years.

How did you first learn about Marble IT?

It is an experience that made me feel confused since, I was introduced to CEO, Luka, at one the meetups that was organized in my home town. Somehow, I never got the name of his company though.

A year later, through a mutual friend, I got to know one of the employees. Hearing the experience he had, I wanted to apply. When I started research on the company, I found a familiar face in C-level employees list, which made my decision to apply easier.

Our paths crossed again during the interview. We found out we share a lot of ideas and interests and the rest is history.
