Rebeka is our commercial thinker with a tech background and many, many talents. Working with Sales & Production, she contributes to a smooth transition between helping clients articulate their needs, understanding project complexity, and translating into tech stories. Her hobbies are painting, writing, yoga, and playing the piano. Wonder how she could manage all of that? Her favorite scientist Einstein explained that time passes slower the more you’re moving, so that must be it.
Rebeka, stimulating her creative mind. She loves painting with her dog Che.
What is your role at Q?
My role is Head of Product Strategy. A digital product—whether a website or the business process digitization behind it—contributes to a business KPI: CX improvement, growing revenue, or increased efficiency.
My team and I are responsible for digital product strategy. This means understanding business goals, markets, user behavior and mindset; connecting them with technology and digital possibilities; and finally translating the value proposition into the digital product.
We are using different tools and methodologies to create value propositions that are translated into tangible digital products.
What are your primary responsibilities and what does your day-to-day look like?
Working closely with the Sales, Design, and Business Analyst teams, I am responsible for developing long term product strategy, providing thought leadership, and designing long-term plans for Q’s products.
From day-to-day, my job consists of doing industry research, client meetings, preparing project proposals, and running product strategy workshops with our clients and our team.
It’s essential to keep up and stay ahead to deliver the best ideas when working closely with clients to translate their ideas into digital products—from business and user research, through framing the problem and defining value proposition, to prototyping and MVP definition.
What drew you to Product Strategy? Have you always worked in Product strategy roles?
Managing project teams was always my dream job—I love solving problems and collaborating and coordinating with various internal stakeholders.
This job also allowed me to create services that will contribute to Q’s rapid growth and help monetize our services on one side and help our clients on the other.
It is a creative job that enables you to learn about the latest digitization trends across various industries and technologies. I am working with top clients and industry leaders on their digitization initiatives, and it is very amusing to be a part of digital innovation globally.

How did you first learn about Q?
I heard about the Q agency a couple of years ago from my friends. Q organized many meetups for students, and there was always a lot of positive vibe around Q agency in the developer and digital circles in Croatia, so naturally, I was interested in hearing more.
I started to research a little, and found out there was a bunch of cool stuff that they were doing. I wanted to be a part of this story.

What is the best vacation you’ve been to?
Japan a couple of years ago or Moscow last year. I loved Japan because people are so humble, the nature is marvelous, and their culture is beautiful. I especially liked Kyoto and Hiroshima. In Moscow, I loved ice skating on the Red Square and visiting Bolshoi Theatre.
How do you define success in life?
Every person has varying opinions about what makes a life prosperous or defines success in a different way, so there isn't a definition suitable for all. For me, success is being happy and at peace with who and where you are in life. I think being grateful and staying authentic is key to happiness. And of course, never forget to have fun along the way!
Do you have any hobbies, go-to weekend activities, or long-term passion projects you’re working on?
I like painting. For me, creating gives a fulfilling, unique feeling of inspiration when I am capturing emotions and moments. I also enjoy playing the piano and writing. My proudest moments last year were when five of my articles were published and when my painting was featured in a group exhibition.
Before working at Q, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
My student job was in Fashion - I worked in the organization team for a top Croatian fashion show. This was different from my daily student life (I studied engineering) and allowed me to meet many new and interesting people.
