Time to meet the Senior software engineer at Ethernal, Stana!

Why did you join Ethernal, and what has kept you here?

The biggest motivators to join the Ethernal team were the people I had worked with before. Their work ethic and collegiality promised a pleasant work environment, and my expectations were fully met. Also, the technical field that the company deals with is very interesting, has great potential and offers the opportunity in many areas for research and development of new skills.

What drew you to [department]? Have you always worked in software engineering roles?

What attracted me to the blockchain technology I was new to when I joined the team was the opportunity to work on challenging things where there is research and creative freedom. The potential of the domain has not yet been fully explored, and the development of interesting things and applications in various fields is still expected.

Working at Ethernal, I have the opportunity to gain and apply knowledge from clients who are leaders in this field.

When are you the happiest?

I am happiest when I travel to more and less known places where I meet different cultures and new people, at concerts with friends listening to famous or totally unknown bands, or while I am at home and relaxing with a book or watching sports

What did you want to be when growing up?

A pilot or a shipbuilder and at some point a history teacher, but later I knew it is going to be something related to engineering.

If you could only drink one beer for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Something made by Brouwerijt IJ, a nice small brewery in Amsterdam located in a former bathhouse
