Time to meet today’s star, the Full Stack Developer at Codeus, Miljana!

How do you spend your time outside of the office?

Considering that I have a lot of screen time during the day, I aim to spend my free time hanging out with my friends and family.

We are adventurous types, so we prefer playing sports, hanging out, traveling, cooking together.

I love weekend getaways, so my weekends are usually pretty active.

What’s been the most memorable experience during your tenure so far at the company?

Codeus' tagline says - It is family that cares, and I can say it's completely true. One of my most memorable experiences certainly was the team building where we had a chance to spend a couple of days together, connecting, learning about each other and getting to know each other, and feel the team spirit even better.

I can say that this kind of a team activity strengthens the team spirit and enables us to be even more productive on our day-to-day job.

What's your favorite line from a movie?

My favorite line comes from Gone with the Wind, and it says: 'I'll think about that tomorrow'.

I believe that every troublesome that we experience has a solution, we just need to free our mind and let the solution come.

What is the favorite part about working for Codeus?

I believe the biggest Codeus' asset is the team. I love learning from others, not only job-related, but life-related things.

It enables me to achieve the perfect work-life balance, as well as an opportunity for growth. No a lot of companies can take pride in achieving that.

What is the best vacation you’ve been to?

3 years ago I visited Lefkada, Greece. It was my first time visiting this marvelous place, and I would go anytime again.

Lefkada is full of the most beautiful beaches in the world, but the breathtaking ones are not easy to find. We had to walk to there, which was quite challenging. Once I got to see the view, I proved myself once again that the effort always pays off.

How has Codeus helped you in your career development?

I started my career at Codeus. The first project I worked on was quite interesting and I had a chance to learn a lot from my mentors.

I kept getting projects that allowed me to stay interested, up to date with new technologies and grow. I'm lucky that I've always had senior developers by my side that were always open for any kind of questions.

I believe that at Codeus I will have a chance to complete my full stack development knowledge in the near future. At the moment, I'm working on Node and Vue.js projects, but I'm sure I'll start working with React Native soon.
