Time to meet the UI/UX Designer at DVC Solutions, Srdjan!

How did you first learn about DVC Solutions?

I learned about DVC before I even started working as Ui/Ux designer. My first encounter with UI/UX design was in the company's educational center called "Hubl". That's when I also first heard about DVC, so DVC was there for me since the beggining. I finished course, and then started practicing design.

After a year of freelancing, I managed to find internship, and as my internship was coming to an end, I got job offer at DVC. It was a dream come true!

How has DVC Solutions helped you in your career development?

DVC accepted me, along with my knowledge level, and helped me to prosper. DVC payed courses that I wanted, and that I found useful for me, and the company. They have patience with me, and are willing to help as much as they can, and they can help a lot!

They are always challenging me to push forward, and to become better day by day!

What did you want to be when growing up?

Growing up, I wanted to be cook. But, when I turned 10, I started getting interested in art and design. I started drawing more, and I liked it very much.

Then, when I turned 12, I started doing graffiti, and that is the year I definitely decided I will be designer when I grow up. First, I wanted to be graphic designer, but we didn't have graphic design school, so I went to graphic technician school. We didn't learned much design there, so in that period I forgot about my dream of becoming designer, and started working as a waiter.

Fast forward to 2020, I decided it was time to come back to my dream, and that is the time I started learning UI/UX design. Now, this is my biggest passion, and I don't know what would I do without it!

How do you spend your time outside of the office?

Outside of office I like spending time with my friends and family the most. I like to go out with my friends, be that coffee, beer, training, or playing video games. Besides that, I am books person, I really like reading since I was a child. I like psychology, and historic books a lot.

Also, I really like listening to music, music is big part of me.

This is me again, but here I am in proccess of fulfilling my dreams 

How do you define success in life?

Well, for me, success is when you are happy, in good health, and when you have financial freedom. As long as you do something that you like, and what makes you happy, and you are in good health, that is success.

When you add financial freedom to that, you can't go wrong with that, you got the recipe for perfect life.

What are your primary responsibilities and what does your day-to-day look like?

My primary responsibilities are design. Be it app design, website design, web based app design, or other things related to products we make (be it banners, user manuals, logo's, or stuff like that).

My day to day would looks something like this: I come at the office around 8 (if I went to bed later previous night, I come around 9, because good night sleep is everything), and first of all I check new emails. Then, I see my tasks for that day, and I start working on them. Around 9 the food arives, and usually we all go together to have breakfast. Then I continue working on my tasks.

In the mean time, Mirko and Branko usually tell funny things and experiences, so we laugh a lot, and have fun. Sometimes we have meetings, and sometimes we play PES if we have time.

Time flies when you have fun, and it is usually like that in the office, so the 4 o'clock arrives, and I pack my things, and go home.
